A race with the top eight qualifying points earners during the 2012 CV products Big Dog season. Qualifying points will be awarded to the Top 8 qualifiers each race.
These points are not to be included in the normal season points series.

The points will be award as following:

1^st qualifier         8 points
2^nd qualifier        7 points
3^rd qualifier        6 points
4^th qualifier        5 points
5^th qualifier        4 points
6^th qualifier        3 points
7^th qualifier        2 points
8^th qualifier        1 point

Tie breaker: 1^st tie breaker will be most #1 qualifying positions, 2^nd will be most #2 positions and so on.

The CV Products Big Dog qualifying challenge race will be run during qualifying for the October 2012 Big Dog race. The top 8 points earners will run a pro ladder style format with the eliminations also counting as their qualifying runs for that event.

The winner gets $1000.00 from CV Products and Piedmont Dragway.
Winner takes all format.

All competitors will be required to run the special decal supplied by CV Products to be eligible for the program each race.
